The Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots played at Sunday’s Super Bowl and fashion lovers all over tuned in at 8 p.m. not for balls to be thrown, but for life to be given. This year’s halftime show performer, Lady Gaga, did just that. Singing classics like “bad romance” and “Born this Way”, the singer reminded us why we fell in love with her back in 2008. The fashion leading up to and during the night, however, was one for fashion lovers to gag over during the work week ahead.
The singer arrived early to the Super Bowl in a Versace all-black two piece and sunglasses. The sheer ensemble was perfect for Gaga’s figure and made me excited to see what would come next.
For the halftime performance, Gaga donned a Versace sequined bodysuit that was classic Gaga. I loved how she brought back the costume element of her that we all loved. Added with a pair of glittery boots and a red lip, this look was timeless and fit the night perfectly.
For her second look, a football uniform-inspired look as she ran to the stage. The glam look is my personal idea of athleisure and is exactly what I would wear if I was ever dragged to a football game.
