Fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar announced Rihanna will be the March 2017 cover girl. The “love on the brain” singer did a Amelia Earhart-inspired shoot to pay homage to the pilot, who was the first woman to do a solo flight. The shoot has perfect timing, as March is National Women’s history month.
Riri was interviewed by Harper’s Bazaar and will be featured in the magazine’s 150th issue. Not only will the magazine be on newsstands, but the collector’s issue is going to be available as well. The singer has always been for women empowerment and embodies strength and confidence in all she does, so this issue is very fitting for her.
“There’s something so special about a woman who dominates in a man’s world,” Rihanna said in the article. “It takes a certain grace, strength, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer.”
