My best dressed picks from Black women in music

The Grammy event “black women in music” took place on Thursday and influential women in music gathered to celebrate their contributions to black culture. Four time Grammy nominee Erykah Badu was honored at the event and wore an Ashi Studio Fall Winter Couture gown. Known for always having her own eccentric style, Badu paired the dress with one of her signature top hat and glasses. I love how Badu always makes high fashion her own and I was a huge fan of the look.

What I also loved about the event was young talent was at the forefront of this event. Actresses like Yara Shahidi and Kiersey Clemons were stunning with their big hair and shimmery dresses. Up-and-coming artists like Chloe and Halle and Tiwa Savage also shined during the night. These women, as more as other artists, were examples of what’s to come in the industry and it was refreshing to see them alongside greats like Badu.

What were some of your favorite looks of the night? What are your thoughts on these looks? Let me know!
